the club meets on sunday mornings from about 10 am to 3 pm, and on thursdays afternoons from midday until about 4pm

Anything else to add?: great big deep clean lake, sometimes shared with fishermen, but there is plenty of water to go around. Access is approx 90% round the lake. Friendly club- informal sailing competitions. All manner of models sail, tugs, trawlers , fast electrics, hovercraft, yachts, a big model submarine club too. One third of the lake is nature reserve - no access,

Beale Park, Lower Basildon, Berkshire


Within the pay-to-enter park there are three boating lakes and one is suitable for freesailers. The park is the home water of the Mid Thames Model Boat Club and there are two regattas a year, as well as the exotic birds and animals, gardens and steam railway. The owner of the park has his own amazing model boat collection which is shown in the Pavilion.
