Information Wanted

Douglas

Isle of Man

This is a Lost Pond, on the concrete promenade that leads out to the ferry terminal.

Trevor Smith tells me that it was filled in about 20 years ago but you could still buy cards of it 3 years ago!?

Port St Mary

Isle of Man

This is a Lost Pond.

There was a boat pond here first opened on 9th October 1937. It was closed in 1977 through water leaks too expensive to repair.
