Corby | Kettering

Location - Town: Corby
Location - County: Northants
Description/directions to location: Corby Boating Lake. The lake used to be a rowing lake, but due to vandalism of the boats they were withdrawn.

The lake is now used by the Corby Model boat club that meet there on Sunday mornings.

The pond is large with several places where boats can easily be launched. The lake is best suited to radio control as the banks do have reeds in places and shallow sides. There is also a small island in middle of the lake and several other steel caged gabbions in the water that could present problems to free sailing boats.

The lake is also used by fishermen.
