Suggested Itineraries. These are my favourite places, ranging from an amble on the river to bouncing about off the North Wales coast. I hope to be on the water most weekends from Easter to October.

Enjoy the spectacular scenery of Lake Windermere and the Lake District - at 12 miles long, one mile wide and 220 feet deep, it's the largest natural lake in England.

Take a thrill ride from Abersoch, North Wales, and maybe have a go at wakeboarding and waterskiing.

Leisurely trip on the River Dee through the Roman city of Chester and the Cheshire countryside.

Navigate the upper reaches of the River Thames from Abingdon to Oxford - with locks, historic towns and cities, and picture postcard views along the way.

The Solent and Cowes - arguably the yachting capital of the world.

The Norfolk Broads - Britain's largest protected wetland, third largest inland waterway and home to some of the rarest plants and animals in the UK.

Loch Lomond has the largest surface area of fresh water Loch in the UK. The Loch is 24 miles long and five miles wide and at its deepest point is some 600 feet deep.
